Thank you for visiting my website! My name is Amaury Zapien and I was born in the state of Guerrero, but grew up in Michoacán, Mexico.
I graduated as a General Practitioner at the Universidad Michoacana, in the city of Morelia.
After I graduated I came to the city of Chicago in 1980 and I have been here ever since. I was only absent for 7 years during which I was doing supervisory work in a US Navy rehabilitation program at the Yokosuka Japan Naval Base.
My professional performance as a Mental Health and Addiction Therapist spans more than 30 years. My experience with hypnosis has spanned over 20 years.
I am specialized in Ericksonian Hypnosis, which can be described as a conversational, non-authoritarian, natural method that uses the individual’s own resources, learning and experiences for a faster improvement of their problems.
Due to my studies and travels I speak Spanish, English and French.
